New Dawn's 15th Annual Garden Tour

For over a dozen years, a grassroots crew of garden-loving New Dawn Montessori School parents, and the school's tireless director, have laid the groundwork for the annual Cambria Garden Tour Extravaganza -- a major fundraising event for New Dawn. Over the years the tour has budded, blossomed, and is now in full bloom each Spring. As one of the most beloved and anticipated community events on the Central Coast, the Garden Tour attracts an evergrowing community of gardening enthusiasts who travel from near and far to attend.

Tour guests this year will experience the aesthetic possibilities of tranquil forest gardens, a flourishing drought-tolerant habitat, an art-infused naturescape, and the ever-classic Cambria backyard habitats. Once again, local restaurants* will present a menu of tasty treats and local musicians will harmonize with the visual beauty at each site. Several gardens this year will also display paintings and sculpture provided by some of Cambria's finest visual artists.

The day's garden walk begins with continental breakfast, graciously provided by the Cambria Pines Lodge, and served on their lush grounds. The grand finale will take guests to the inspiring Cambria Nursery and Florist, for a Gala Dessert Reception provided by Linn's, and a Raffle Prize Drawing supported by the generous Cambria Business Community. About The New Dawn Center

Your deeply appreciated donations and raffle ticket purchases provide the New Dawn Montessori School important funds for the continuing operation of the school, assuring the availability of quality early childhood education for the children of Cambria. New Dawn is a Montessori-based school integrating the arts and sciences for kindergarten and preschool children. This creative learning center was founded in 1985 by Sonya Lanzen-Castellanos and was designed to help children build a strong foundation of self-worth and social skills while igniting their passion for learning.
